Who We Are
Our Consortium consists of both agency and individual members
Agency members are made up of public and private service and educational institutions offering or participating in nursing education programs in the OC/LB area; Agencies employing nurses in the OC/LB area; and Professional Nursing Organizations in the OC/LB area.
Individual members are made up of individuals who are not representing an agency and have an interest in education, research, or promotion of quality health care through educational endeavors in the OC/LB area; and, Honorary members who may be conferred membership for their outstanding service in their field.
Our Board Members are the officers of our Consortium
Our Board Members are leaders from member organizations who come together to guide the organization toward meeting the mission and vision. They are volunteers who are passionate about improving the health of their community and the collaboration of nursing and healthcare organizations in the OC/LB area.
Our Mission
The mission of our consortium is to provide broad educational opportunities and career mobility education to nurses and nursing students, and on-going image-building and policy-making support for nursing at the local, state and national level through the collaborative efforts of nursing education and nursing service.
Our Vision
To provide a forum for study, discussion, cooperative planning, and recommendations on nursing issues with respect to education, service and professionalism.
To be an influence in the community through responsible research and open discussions, and provide supportive evidence-based practices essential to quality health care.
To host an equitable place for nursing schools and clinical partners to come together for clinical placement opportunities.
To enhance communication between our members to improve efficiency, boost growth, and increase innovation in nursing education.
